The Doorman vs Apollo

Mystic vs Assassin

Keep your CC for their dive. One stun on an assassin is usually a kill for your team.

Your game plan as The Doorman

A hotel concierge who controls where everyone goes.

How to beat Apollo

A fencer. Apollo wins duels by deflecting your best shot and riposting into you.

• 01Don’t throw your key ability into Riposte. Wait for it to expire, then commit.
• 02Spread out; Itani Lo Sahn is a long slash that rewards stacked teams.
• 03Hard CC before he lunges: Flawless Advance commits him forward.

1. 01The Doorman out-farms Apollo by ~14 last hits per match. Contest every orb and punish them for walking up to last-hit.
2. 02Apollo looks for burst windows. Don’t sit in lane at low health, and ping the moment they disappear — they’re hunting.
