Venator vs Abrams

Marksman vs Brawler

Keep the range. Stay behind troopers, kite backwards, and save your escape for their gap-closer.

Your game plan as Venator

A holy gunner who executes the weak.

How to beat Abrams

A bully who wins by refusing to leave. Every fight Abrams takes, he wants to take at shotgun range.

• 01Kite him. Outside of Seismic Impact, Abrams has one gap-closer; once Shoulder Charge is down, walk backwards and shoot.
• 02Never fight near walls; a wall turns Shoulder Charge into a stun.
• 03Buy anti-heal before the second fight. Siphon Life and Infernal Resilience make long trades his.
• 04Bait Seismic Impact with your frontline before your carries commit.

1. 01Venator out-farms Abrams by ~27.6 last hits per match. Contest every orb and punish them for walking up to last-hit.
2. 02Abrams wants close range. Keep troopers between you, save stamina for a dash out, and punish them when they over-commit.
3. 03Abrams has sustain (Siphon Life, Infernal Resilience). Short, sharp trades beat long ones — buy anti-heal early.
