How Paradox beats Apollo
Marksman vs Assassin
Assume they’re flanking you. Stay near teammates and hold your escape for their burst.
Your game plan as Paradox
A tactician who swaps you into her team.
Lane
Pulse Grenade slows and stacks damage. Kinetic Carbine is a long-range Time-Stop.
Mid game
Time Wall stops enemy bullets, so fight behind it.
Late game
Paradoxical Swap pulls a target into your team’s range. Swap the enemy carry, then burst.
How to beat Apollo
A fencer. Apollo wins duels by deflecting your best shot and riposting into you.
- 01Don’t throw your key ability into Riposte. Wait for it to expire, then commit.
- 02Spread out; Itani Lo Sahn is a long slash that rewards stacked teams.
- 03Hard CC before he lunges: Flawless Advance commits him forward.
