How Kelvin beats Yamato
Your game plan as Kelvin
A support-tank who keeps his team alive and the enemy team slow.
Lane
Frost Grenade trades and heals your partner at once. Arctic Beam slows and reduces fire rate.
Mid game
Ice Path is the best rotation tool in the game. Use it to carry your team to objectives.
Late game
Frozen Shelter blocks everything: dome your carry, or dome a fight to split it.
How to beat Yamato
A blade who commits fully — and refreshes everything when she does.
- 01Wait out Shadow Transformation; she’s invincible at first.
- 02Dodge Power Slash’s charge.
- 03Burst her after the all-in.

Laning
Win the lane: Kelvin into Yamato
- 01Kelvin out-farms Yamato by ~11 last hits per match. Contest every orb and punish them for walking up to last-hit.
- 02Yamato looks for burst windows. Don’t sit in lane at low health, and ping the moment they disappear — they’re hunting.
- 03Your own sustain (Frost Grenade, Frozen Shelter) wins extended lanes — stay longer than they can.
