Baba vs Infernus

Mystic vs Mystic

Spell duels are cooldown trades. Use yours after theirs.

Your game plan as Baba

A chaotic hex-caster who turns fights into a mess of silences, slows and stolen Spirit.

How to beat Infernus

A pyromaniac who wins by keeping everyone burning for just a bit too long.

• 01Short trades. Afterburn punishes long ones.
• 02Concussive Combustion can’t be interrupted — walk out of it.
• 03Buy anti-heal and Spirit Resist; most of his damage is spirit.

1. 01Infernus wins the farm by ~38.8 last hits per match. Prioritise safe last hits and denies over trades, and let your lane partner zone.
2. 02Infernus denies ~1.1 more orbs per match — secure your orbs before they can.
3. 03Infernus deals most damage with abilities. Trade right after they’ve used their main spell, and consider early Spirit Shielding.

• 3
  Hold

Hold Baba's Brew for Concussive Combustion — use it the moment Infernus commits, not before.

• 3
  Early point

Infernus wins the farm: an early point into Baba's Brew clears waves and keeps you in lane.

• Baba averages 0.97 kills per death against Infernus.
• Baba finishes 2.0k souls behind Infernus on average — play for teamfights and scaling rather than lane kills.
• Baba deals 1.6k less objective damage per match than Infernus — let teammates take structures while you hold.
• Track Concussive Combustion (190s cooldown). The window right after Infernus uses it is your best time to fight.
