Baba vs Abrams

Mystic vs Brawler

Kite and zone. Your spells punish brawlers who walk straight at you.

Your game plan as Baba

A chaotic hex-caster who turns fights into a mess of silences, slows and stolen Spirit.

How to beat Abrams

A bully who wins by refusing to leave. Every fight Abrams takes, he wants to take at shotgun range.

• 01Kite him. Outside of Seismic Impact, Abrams has one gap-closer; once Shoulder Charge is down, walk backwards and shoot.
• 02Never fight near walls; a wall turns Shoulder Charge into a stun.
• 03Buy anti-heal before the second fight. Siphon Life and Infernal Resilience make long trades his.
• 04Bait Seismic Impact with your frontline before your carries commit.

1. 01Abrams wins the farm by ~10 last hits per match. Prioritise safe last hits and denies over trades, and let your lane partner zone.
2. 02Abrams denies ~1.4 more orbs per match — secure your orbs before they can.
3. 03Abrams wants close range. Keep troopers between you, save stamina for a dash out, and punish them when they over-commit.
4. 04Abrams has sustain (Siphon Life, Infernal Resilience). Short, sharp trades beat long ones — buy anti-heal early.

• 3
  Early point

Put an early point into Baba's Brew: Abrams can drag you out of position, so keep a way back.

• 3
  Max first

Max Baba's Brew before Threadsap: Abrams heals through slow damage (Siphon Life, Infernal Resilience), so burst them instead.

• 3
  Hold

Hold Baba's Brew for Seismic Impact — use it the moment Abrams commits, not before.

• Baba averages 1.02 kills per death against Abrams.
• Baba finishes 313 souls behind Abrams on average — play for teamfights and scaling rather than lane kills.
• Track Seismic Impact (215s cooldown). The window right after Abrams uses it is your best time to fight.
